Elisabeth Remy Johnson has been Principal Harpist of the Atlanta Symphony orchestra since 1995. She is an active soloist and chamber musician, performing throughout the United States and for the International Harp Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ms. Remy Johnson is a consistent first-place prizewinner in national competitions, including the American Harp Society National Competition. Ms. Remy Johnson serves on the faculties of Emory University, Georgia State University, and Kennesaw State University. She is a graduate of Harvard University with a double major in Music and French. Her harp studies were with Ann Hobson Pilot in Boston and Alice Chalifoux at the Salzedo Harp Colony in Camden, Maine.
