An early student of her mother, Mary Bartlett, and then Carlos Salzedo, Alice Chalifoux, Lucille Lawrence, and Susann McDonald, Ms. Bartlett went on to become principal harpist with the National Ballet Company in Washington D.C., the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the North Carolina Symphony. A passionate educator, Ms. Bartlett is Professor of Harp and Chamber Music at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the North Carolina Harp Ensemble.
