Rachel Brandwein is the winner of the Mu Phi Epsilon International Solo Competition (2014). As a performer and composer, Dr. Brandwein has earned first prizes and grants in numerous national and regional competitions sponsored by the American Harp Society, American String Teachers Association, and Mu Phi Epsilon. In addition to performing worldwide as a concert soloist and chamber musician, Dr. Brandwein serves on the faculties of Luther College in Iowa and the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John’s University in Minnesota. She holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Stony Brook University, the Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, and the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan.
